Description of obverse and reverse | The obverse: in the centre - the emblem of the Bank of Russia [the two-headed eagle with wings down, under it - the semicircular inscription "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA)] framed by a circle of dots and inscriptions along the rim - on top: "ДВАДЦАТЬ ПЯТЬ РУБЛЕЙ" (TWENTY FIVE RUBLES), below: to the left - indications of the precious metal and its fineness, in the centre - the year of issue "2011 г." (2011), to the right - the fine metal content and the mint trade mark. The reverse: on the matted disc of the coin to the left - the monument to A.S. Pushkin sitting in a thoughtful pose leaning his right elbow on the back of the garden-bench, over it - the crown of a tree, in the background - the right wing of the building of Lyceum, to the right at the rim - the crown of a tree, below at the rim the inscription made by the "proof" technique: "ЦАРСКОСЕЛЬСКИЙ ЛИЦЕЙ" (THE TSARSKOYE SELO LYCEUM). |
