On the reverse, the artist’s self portrait, his dates of life (1928-1987), a background with a frieze composed of the repetition of one of his famous quote: “Making Money is Art” and at the bottom of the portrait, his specific stamp signature called stamp signature. |
A brief annotation | Andy Warhol became the leader of the pop Art movement and one of the most important artists of the 20th century. Among his most famous works are the silkscreen prints of American stars or political leaders. His work “Dollar Sign” is another symbol of his production.
