A brief annotation | The commemorative coin is dedicated to the Saint Sophia cathedral founded in the 11th century, which has played a weighty part in the development and formation of the city of Kyiv as a spiritual, cultural and political centre. The Saint Sophia of Kyiv has always excited admiration thanks to its majesty and still deeply impresses as an outstanding monument of architecture and mural painting. |
