A brief annotation | Maxim Bogdanovich - a classic of Belarusian literature. He lived a short life of 26 years, but during that time he contributed so much to genre and structural variety of Belarusian literature that he is reasonably compared with the contribution of Alexander Pushkin in Russian literature. It was M. Bogdanovich who first tried in Belarusian literature various forms of poems, including sonnets, roundels, etc. His poetry is true and humane with a lot of thoughts and feelings, it says about the country and its people in prerevolutionary times. |
