Description of obverse and reverse Obverse: In the centre – an image of the Pyramid at Chichén Itzá in Mexico. Around the Pyramid – a stylized image of an Aztec blade, decorated with pad printing, creating an interesting ornament. The ornament separated by stylized images of four heads of "Feathered Serpent", also called Quetzalcoatl - one of the major deities of the Aztecs, Toltecs, and other Middle American peoples. At the bottom – a semicircular inscription in Catalan language: "LA PIRÀMIDE DE CHICHÉN ITZÁ. YUCATÁN. MÈXIC" (Pyramid at Chichen Itza. Yucatan. Mexico). Reverse: In the centre – a stylized image of the world globe with an inscription in Catalan language: "LES MERAVELLES DEL MÓN" (Wonders of the World). Below the inscription – a nominal value (10 D., which means 10 Diners), a year of issue (2009) and the Coat of Arms of the Principality of Andorra. On the right of the "10 D" letter – the Mint’s mark (MW). At the bottom, along the edge – a semicircular inscription in Catalan language: PRINCIPAT D’ANDORRA (Principality of Andorra).
