Mintage | Obverse: in the inner circle the National Emblem is depicted, to the right of the emblem the year of issue is indicated “2008”, and in the lower part the face value is indicated in the Armenian language “1000000 ДРАМ” (1000000 Dram). Between the linear circle and the edge of the coin there is a circular inscription “Republic of Armenia” in Armenian and English. Reverse: the portraits of the Armenian Catholicoses of the 20th century are depicted by the circle, under each portrait there are inscriptions with the Catholicoses’ names and the period of their service. In the central part the Saint Echmiatsin is depicted, in the lower part there is an inscription “Armenian Catholicoses of the 20th century” in Armenian. The coin is framed with crosses as a pattern. |
