In the coin center in the circle of conventionalized rays there is a cross and the semi-circular inscriptions “ПРАВОСЛАВ’Я» (Orthodoxy) (above) and “ІЗ КИЄВА ПО ВСІЙ РУСІ» (From Kyiv all over Rus) (below). Reverse: there is a multi-figure composition of baptism with the inscription “988 РІК» (988 YEAR) below and the semi-circular inscription “ ХРЕЩЕННЯ КИЇВСЬКОЇ РУСІ» (Christianization of Kievan Rus) above. |
