Mintage | Obverse:in the centre there is the emblem of the Bank of Russia (double-headed eagle with the spread wings), below which is the semicircular inscription “БАНК РОССИИ”(Bank of Russia), framed with a circle of small dots and inscriptions along the rim: on the top it reads: “ТРИ РУБЛЯ” (Three roubles), at the bottom: “2008”, on the left: the metal’s designation and its alloy, on the right: the chemically pure metal content and the trade mark of the mint. Reverse: In the center there is an image of The Navity of the Blessed Virgin Cathedral of the Snetogorsk Monastery, below there is an inscription in two lines: “СНЕТОГОРСКИЙ МОНАСТЫРЬ” (The Snetogorsk Monastery),to the right there is a stylized ornament fragment, below there is an inscription: “ПСКОВ” (Pskov) and the date: “XIV century” in two lines, on the top there is an inscription along the rim: “СОБОР РОЖДЕСТВА БОГОРОДИЦЫ” (The Navity of the Blessed Virgin Cathedral). |
