Mintage | The dominating decoration of the 10-krone coin is a portrait of the Queen, by the Sculptor, Professor Mogens Møller, which has been used on coins minted since 2001.Between “Margrethe II” and “Danmarks Dronning” is a small heart, called a mint mark. The year of minting is shown at the bottom of the coin. The reverse: the Royal Yacht Dannebrog as its motif. The yacht serves as the official and private residence of Her Majesty the Queen, His Royal Highness the Prince Consort and members of the Royal Family when they are on summer cruises in Danish waters and on official visits overseas. |
