Famous for its cultured South Sea Pearls and melting pot of cultures, the north-west tourist destination of Broome in Western Australia offers a blend of history, romance and indulgence. The reverse design, which incorporates The Perth Mint’s traditional “P” mintmark, portrays a coloured pearl shell containing four white pearls on a beach and a lugger at sea. Coin is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965. |
