Reverse: depicting original Australian Indigenous art, the reverse design featured on the Kangaroo Dreaming coins is inspired by the artist’s boyhood memories of a hunting trip in the north of Western Australia. The design comprises a kangaroo surrounded by patterns of dots, symbolising the hunters’ journey, and circles, representing the places where the hunters stopped. |
