Description of obverse and reverse | The reverse shows the coat of arms of the new King and features a round area with a quadruple latent in which, depending on the angle of vision, four images can be seen: a Crown, a fleur-de-lis, the Mintmark and the year of mintage. The 30 Euro collector coin depicts, on its obverse, the effigy of H.M. King Felipe VI. |
A brief annotation | June 19th 2014 was a date of historical importance for Spain: the Proclamation of Felipe of Bourbon and Greece as new King of Spain. To mark the occasion, the Royal Mint of Spain has minted the official commemorative coin in sterling silver, thereby keeping to the centuries-old tradition of honouring a historical event of such significance. |
