You can also spot similarities to the Ilmari Tapiovaara and Interior Decoration silver collector coin, which is also designed by Koskinen. The special two-euro coin's reverse side is identical to that of ordinary two-euro circulation coins. |
A brief annotation | Designer and interior architect Ilmari Tapiovaara (1914-1999) is one of the most renowned Finnish designers. His most famous designs include the Domus and Mademoiselle chairs. Tapiovaara’s work was based on ideas of social responsibility and democracy. He was also the first Finnish designer to be active in the field of international design. |
