Reverse: the image of extant whole facade of the Cathedral of St. Paul. At the top – a semicircular inscription in three languages (English, Chinese and Portuguese) «Ruins of St. Paul’s». |
A brief annotation | This coin exudes festive auspicious spirit and introduces Macau’s beautiful sites to collectors around the world. It is highly sought after by both collectors and gift-givers and is a yearly sell out coin shortly after launch. Confucius called the orchid «the flower of noble character». St. Paul Cathedral was built by the Portuguese in the XVII century, it is in UNESCO World Heritage List. |
