| Description of obverse and reverse | On the obverse there are: the semicircular inscription «НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ» (National Bank of Ukraine) (above) with the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine to the left; in the centre, against the background of the decorative military map case with the flight plan, Pyotr Nesterov’s portrait and the coin issue year indication «2013» to the right thereof; below – the coin face value «5 ГРИВЕНЬ» (5 hryvnias) and the mark of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint. On the reverse there is depicted a conventionalized composition of performance of the famous loop by Nesterov in a Nieuport monoplane; in the middle thereof – the inscription «ПЕТЛЯ/1913/рік/КИЇВ/НЕСТЕРОВА» (loop/1913/year/Kyiv/of Nesterov); below there are depicted the spectators as on the 1913 postcards from Kyiv. |
