Description of obverse and reverse | Issued as legal tender of Tuvalu, the obverse bears the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, bordered by the inscriptions «QUEEN ELIZABETH II», «TUVALU», the monetary denomination, the 2013 year-date and the weight and fineness of the coin. The reverse features an aerial view of Red Square in Moscow, Russia. The artistry of coin is identified with an inscription of the city square at the base of the design. The Perth Mint’s «P» mintmark, and the weight and fineness of the coin, also feature in the design. |
