Zheltovodsky Makaryev Convent of the Holy Trinity is an orthodox convent located close to the settlement Makaryevo, Lyskovsky district, Nizhny Novgorod Region. The convent was founded in the 15th century by the Venerable Makary, monk in the Nizhny Novgorod Ascension Pechersky Monastery located on the shore of Lake Zheltye Vody.
The convent ensemble, which survived until the present day –the Church of the Dormition with frateries, the Holy Trinity Cathedral, and the Gate Church of the Archangel Michael – was built in the middle of the 17th century.
