The obverse: in the centre the relief image of the State Coat of Arms of the Russian Federation, over it along the rim the semicircular inscription: "РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ" (RUSSIAN FEDERATION), framed on both sides by doubled rhombuses, below under the coat of arms in the centre in three lines the inscription: "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA), the denomination of the coin: "25 РУБЛЕЙ" (25 RUBLES), the year: "2018 г." (2018), to the right the mint trade mark.

The reverse: an image of the FIFA World Cup Trophy performed in colour, on the right the inscription in five lines: "ЧЕМПИОНАТ МИРА ПО ФУТБОЛУ FIFA 2018 В РОССИИ" (2018 FIFA WORLD CUP RUSSIA).
