The obverse has the same border as the reverse and the emblem of Palau. The design of the obverse shows pyramids, columns and Egyptian figures. The reverse depicts Winged Isis on a stone pedestal replete with hieroglyphics. In the background are walls of symbols akin to a large temple or tomb. A border carries the series and the coin name, along with the date and a selection of hieroglyphics common to all the coins from this series. The gilded Isis figure has been given a black color wash to simulate aging.

Coin is dedicated Egyptian Goddess Isis. Winged Isis is a symbol of protection and safety.
