The obverse: in an outer circle at the top is a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus and an inscription: РЭСПУБЛІКА БЕЛАРУСЬ; at the bottom is the face value: 20 РУБЛЁЎ, as well the year of issue and the alloy. In an inner circle in the center is a composition consisting of elements of a clockwork mechanism, images of the Sun and the Moon; in the center of the clockwork mechanism is an insert of a cubic zirconia; along the rim are figures designating years from 2013 to 2024 - by the number of years of one Chinese lunar calendar’ cycle; some elements of the central composition and 2017 (the year of the rooster) are gilded. The reverse: in the center is an image of a clock-work rooster surrounded by stars; at the top in an image of a key is a gilded Chinese character for the rooster; at the bottom are stylized images and an inscription: ГОД ПЕЎНЯ.
