Reverse: 24 separate bars come together to form one coin and one reverse image, which is the depiction of various paintings by Dürer.

The Dürer Codex consists of 24 edgeless, color-printed silver bars that form a single large coin. Each bar depicts paintings from German artist Albrecht Dürer. Dürer was a painter, print maker, engraver, mathematician and theorist from Nuremberg who came to be regarded as the greatest artist of the Northern Renaissance. The Dürer Codex provides excellent examples of Dürer's vast body of work, which included altarpieces and religious works, as well as self-portraits and copper engravings
