Description of obverse and reverse
Obverse: In the central part of the coin – effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. On both sides – inscriptions: «ELIZABETH II, NIUE ISLAND» (issuer). Below – an inscription: «2 DOLLARS» (face value). Above – «2020» (year of issue). On the rim – a stylized decorative surface. 

Reverse: In the central part of the coin, an image of an oak tree, according to Slavic beliefs, it was a tree symbolizing the center of the universe. The elements are depicted around it (resin insert), the names of the annual rituals and the names of the Slavic gods.
A brief annotation
“The coin “Slavic Calendar” will take you to the world of rites and traditional beliefs of the people who lived according to the rhythm of nature. The Slavic year began in March with the spring arrival. The summer and winter solstices, as well as the spring and autumn equinox, determined the count of time.
