Description of obverse and reverse
The obverse of the coin in the central part depicts the coat of arms of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Around the circumference of the coins are placed its denomination, the inscriptions "QAZAQSTAN RESPÝBLIKASY" and "REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN", and inscriptions indicating the metal from which the coins are made, their sample and weight.
The reverse in the central part depicts a nomad sitting on a horse with a golden eagle on his right hand, his wife and a thoroughbred dog tazy. Around the circumference of the coins is placed the inscription JETI QAZYNA and the number "2020", indicating the year of minting.
A brief annotation
All "JETI QAZYNA" coins are issued as part of the "Treasures of the Steppe" series. An ancient legend says that a real Kazakh nomad had seven main treasures: masculinity, an intelligent and beautiful wife, a devoted dog, comprehensive knowledge, a good gun, a fleet-footed steed and a hunting golden eagle. It was believed that a smart wife would protect the family hearth, a faithful dog would help in hunting, a good gun would not let you down in battle, a fleet-footed horse and a hunting golden eagle would help you out at a crucial moment, and comprehensive knowledge would help you make wise decisions.
