Description of obverse and reverse
The obverse of the coin depicts mythological symbols of the constellations of the firmament star map and inscriptions indicating the metal from which the coins are made, their sample and mass. Around the perimeter of the coin are inscriptions "KAZAKHSTAN REPUBLIKASY" and "REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN", a stylized image of the sun and the denomination designation.
On the reverse of the coin, in the central part, there is an image of a bull-the symbol of the year 2021 according to the eastern calendar. Around the perimeter of the coin are the inscriptions "2021", "SHYGYS KUNTIZBESI", "EASTERN CALENDAR "and" ORIENTAL CALENDAR". On the inside of the coins are the remaining eleven symbols of the Eastern calendar.
The coins are made in the form of a duodecimal and have identical images of the obverse and reverse sides.
A brief annotation
The design of the coins uses the motifs of the sculptural composition of the fountain "Eastern Calendar" (Almaty). The authors of the sculptural composition: Honored Artist of Kazakhstan, muralist V. Tverdokhlebov together with A. Tatarinov and V. Katsev.
