Description of obverse and reverse
On the obverse of the coin in the central part is the state emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan depicted on an ornamental background. Around the circumference of the inscription in the state language, in Latin script "QAZAQSTAN RESPÝBLIKASY" and in English "REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN ". In the left and right sectors are located elements of the national ornament. In the lower part is the inscription "TEŃGE", the number "500" on the silver coin and the number "100" on the coins made of nickel silver and nickel silver alloy, denoting the denomination of the coin.
On the reverse of the coin is a composite image of the festive rite of Sundet Toi. In the upper part of the coin – a stylized image of shanyrak and elements of the national Kazakh ornament, the inscription "SUNDET TOI". In the lower part of the coin is the logo of the National Bank of Kazakhstan and the year of minting framed by an ornamental rosette. On the left and right side of the silver coin are the inscriptions "Ag 925" and "24 g", indicating the metal from which the coin is made, its sample and mass.
A brief annotation
Sundet toy is an ancient Kazakh custom that has become a national tradition. Before the rite of "initiation", the future dzhigit was put on a horse, and after that he was presented with gifts.
