Obverse (of a single coin): in the central part of the coin – proof surface with inscriptions: 5000 FRANCS CFA (face value), REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN (issuer), 2016 (year of issue), Ag 999 (hallmark), m/w (mint mark). Reverse: of the coin set displayed together form the reproduction of the painting “Tiger Hunt” by Peter Paul Rubens.

Dynamic composition, richness of colors, dramatic effect of the depicted scene – these are major attributes of the painting “Tiger Hunt”. Peter Paul Rubens created his expressive masterpiece in XVII century for Maximilian I, duke of Bavaria. It was one of four canvas decorating the Schleissheim Palace, the residence of the Bavarian rulers. The chef-d'oeuvre, housed in the Museum of Fine Arts of Rennes, France.
