Obverse: butterfly with open wings on a leaf, the glass insert fitting again the wing. In the back field of flowers. Above - date 2014, left - 10 dollars and on the right - Palau Coat of arms. Reverse: flowers with an image of the Greta Oto butterfly and the name on the top left. Partly colored flowers and the wing fits the butterfly exactly. Butterfly with closed wings.

The idea of this coin is to show the butterfly in two ways: open and closed wings. The butterfly has a partly opaque wing which is used to fit a colored glass ins ert in to the coin. Every detail of the design fits together.
