Description of obverse and reverse
Obverse: oval-shaped coin; on the mirrored field on top – the image of a crown, below it - there is an image of the State Emblem of Ghana, the year of issue "2014”, divided into two parts, depicted below the Emblem. In the central part - a profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, below it - a label “IRB” engraved in small letters and a semicircular inscription: “ELIZABETH II”, above the Queen’s portrait there is a semicircular inscription: “REPUBLIC OF GHANA”. At the bottom there is an inscription “5 CEDIS”, below it - the trade mark of the Saint-Petersburg Mint and the Assay Chamber, as well as the inscription “Ag925 33,63g”. Along the edge to the left, to the right and on the bottom there is a decorative ornament with floral elements and mythological characters. Reverse: on the mirrored field in the center - a decorative shell of golden color, made with the use of pad printing technology, and a Roman goddess Venus. Below the shell - stylized images of waves and two fishes, around which there is an intense decorative ornament with mythological characters. At the bottom along the edge – the inscription “ROCOCO”.
