His numerous armies are on the background, and there is the cloud in the sky in the form of the head of a leopard - kagan allegorical image. All composition is framed by an inscription “Barsbek - Kyrgyz people’s kagan” and the fragment of a solar disk symbolizing the period of blossom and glory of Barsbek. Ornamental disks symbolize the sun and movement, are unifying elements for the front and reverse sides of the coin.
A brief annotation
Ajo Barsbek (ajo – the supreme governor, who headed the state) ruled the state of Kyrgyz people at the end of the VII century. Realizing the real force and influence of his state, made the important political act by accepting the highest title – kagan with a throne name Ynanchu Alp Bilge. By 709, Barsbek managed to create the powerful anti-Turkic coalition. This coalition comprised, beside the Kyrgyz kaganat, the Tan Empire and the Turgesh kaganat.
