The obverse depicts a close-up of the face of the Eurasien Eagle-Owl (Bubo Bubo). The eye is highlighted by a special colouring and enriched with dome-coating, producing a Real-Eye-Effect. The reverse depicts the official coat of arms of the Congo and the face value.

Second issue of the series “Nature’s Eyes” which features Endangered Species. The series concentrates on the eye, depicting a close-up of the animals face. The Real-Eye-Effect and the colouring create a vivid image, like looking the animal directly into the eyes.
