Description of obverse and reverse
Obverse: in the center there is a composition symbolizing the unity of man and the universe, the connection of past and present. In the right part there is a face value of the coin «500 ТЕҢГЕ». Under the face value there is the trademark of the Kazakhstan Mint and the inscription «Ag 925 14,6 g, Ta 26,8 g» placed in two rows and indicating the metal of the coin, its fineness and the weight. A circular inscription – « ҚАЗАҚСТАН РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ» in the Kazakh language and «REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN» in English.
Reverse: in the center there is an image of the International Space Station orbiting the Earth, and «2013» the year of coinage. In the upper part – the emblem of the ISS.
