Brilliant Uncirculated, quadruple latent image in 4 parts
Description of obverse and reverse
This is the first coin in the world to have a QUADRUPLE LATENT IMAGE. The reverse depicts four circles arranged in the shape of a cross. Depending on the angle at which they are viewed, the circles will reveal either a crowned M, the Roman numeral X, the Euro symbol, or a star. In the center of the four circles is a rendering of the map of Europa.
The obverse reproduces the overlapping effigies of Their Majesties King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia.
A brief annotation
