A brief annotation
Except for religious holidays, revered by all Christians, for each of us the personal holiday is of big importance when the Church celebrates the feast day of the Saint with whose name we were baptized. This coin features St. Prince Vladimir - an Equal to the Apostles, an outstanding statesman who established Christianity as the state religion of Kievan Russia, the great warrior who has made about two dozen trips, a wise ruler who started minting gold and silver coins, as well as the Enlightener who began to spread literacy in Russia.
