Description of obverse and reverse
The obverse: in the centre of the disc on the mirror field - the emblem of the Bank of Russia [the two-headed eagle with wings down, under it - the semicircular inscription "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA)], over it - the inscription along the rim: "ДВАДЦАТЬ ПЯТЬ ТЫСЯЧ РУБЛЕЙ" (TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND RUBLES), under the emblem - the year of issue "2012 г." (2012), to the left - indications of the precious metal, its fineness and fine metal content, to the right - the original number sign of the coin № ____ and the mint trade mark; along the rim - two concentric lines with four decorative elements, placed on vertical and horizontal axes of the disc.
The reverse: in the centre of the disc on the mirror field - the image of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow, around it upon a laurels wreath - medallions with portraits of Alexander I, М.I. Kutuzov, P.H. Witgenstein, D.V. Davydov, P.I. Bagration and М.B. Barklay de Tolly, below - a shako over crossed weapon, standards and army accouterments, under them - inscription along the rim: "ОТЕЧЕСТВЕННАЯ ВОЙНА 1812 ГОДА" (THE PATRIOTIC WAR OF 1812).
