Description of obverse and reverse
This coin proudly celebrates the upcoming Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II with a lovely reverse-side profile portrait of the young Queen Elizabeth in stunning crown and jewels, reaching gently with upheld palm to cradle an exquisite Canadian 0.11-0.14-carat diamond with authenticity certificate from Ekati diamond mines and individual serial number. The diamond is not only the Queen’s birthstone but represents the 60th anniversary of her reign. The exclusive double-effigy coin’s reverse image also features the face value (“300 Dollars”), “Canada,” and the years of Her Majesty’s reign, “1952 – 2012.”
The obverse features the well-known portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.
