The life of Holy Mary eternalized on a unique 1 kg silver puzzle coin. 12 outer ring Liberian puzzle coins with a face value of 5 Dollars and one center piece with a face value of 40 Dollars. Together one real special puzzle coin with a face value of 100 Dollars. Obverse: Coat of Arms of Liberia, year date and denomination. Reverse: Each puzzle part is representing scenes of Holy Mary’s life. The designs ranging from the announcement by the angel Gabriel to Mary that she would become the “God-bearer” and the virgin birth of the Savior in a stable in Bethlehem, over his life and teachings as well as the miracles in the course of his ministry, to the cruciixion and the resurrection in glory and inally to the creed that the mother of Jesus as the “Mother of God” was assumed body and soul into heavenly glory. The central piece’s design is based on Raphael’s “Sistine Madonna” painted around 1513/14 and housed today in the Old Masters Gallery of Dresden, Germany. The image is partly gilded.
