Description of obverse and reverse
The basic motive of a face side of the coin “Tunduk kotoruu” is a process of construction of yurta (national nomad house) – one of the main traditional rites of Kyrgyz people.
Reverse of the coin is represented with the arms of the Kyrgyz Republic, emblem EurAsEC made with jewelry enamel and stylized birds in flight in the form of the Kyrgyz ornament.
A brief annotation
The coin is dedicated to the series "National customs and rites of the peoples of the Eurasian Economic Community", it was issued within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Community Countries International Program on Issuance and Selling of collection coins made from precious metals. The ceremony of the yurt’s construction is associated with the wedding process, when a separate house is constructed for the newly married couple (that means creation of a new family). The coin is intended for as an original gift for wedding and housewarming.
