Description of obverse and reverse
Obverse: above there is the small coat of arms of Ukraine; below there are the inscription “НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК/ УКРАЇНИ” (National Bank/of Ukraine), the coin face value “5/ ГРИВЕНЬ” (5/ Hryvnias) within a conventionalized vegetable ornamentation pattern as well as indications of the coin issue year “2010”, metal and its fineness “Ag 925”, weight in fineness “15,55” and the NBU Mint logotype.
Reverse: there is a tiger in a technique of a cheap popular print within a conventionalized vegetable ornamentation pattern (tiger’s eyes are represented by citrines of 0.007 carat each). Both above and below this composition there is a depiction of contour figures of all 12 symbols of the Oriental calendar.

Dedicated to the year of the Tiger according to the Chinese calendar based on the twelve-year cycle of the Jupiter, the largest planet of the Solar system.
