Obverse: Efigy of Elizabeth II, Mucha’s painting a lady, inscriptions “Niue Island”, “Elisabeth II” and “1 dollar” as well as “2010”. Reverse: Engraved portrait of the painter, a colourised image of a lady’s painting, name of the author, “Ag 925”.

The main idea of the coin was to depict Alfons Mucha, famous painter of the 20th century with his fascination – women (he painted hundreds of woman portraits). The idea was also to depict beauty and complexity of women nature. The coin was issued for the 150th anniversary of the great Author, in cooperation with Mucha Foundation.
