The reverse design depicts the Viktor Tsoy’s portrait in white-black colors (in newsletter style) and his autograph, the inscriptions "VIKTOR TSOY" and "THE STAR NAMED SUN" (in Russian) and stylized image of the Sun as it was depicted on the cover of the same name album of his band “Kino” (the last vital album of Viktor). The inscription "1962-1990" (years of Viktor’s life) also features as part of the design. The coin’s obverse depicts the Rafael Maklouf effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2010 year-date and monetary denomination.

The coin pays tribute to the legend of Russian rock, idol of many generations Viktor Tsoy who tragically died 20 years ago, in 1990. The coin continued series “To remember” to commemorate persons included in cultural treasury of all people who “was born in USSR”. Author’s rights are observed.
