A brief annotation
This coin of the Greatest Spanish Painters series is dedicated to the talented artist Francisco de Goya y Lucientes (1746-1828), regarded both as the last of the old masters and the first of the modern, a model for later generations of artists as Manet and Picasso. The motifs in the coins are inspired in his masterworks and in Goya himself.
