The obverse of the coin features the BNB logo and the year “1879” written on the ribbon. Below the ribbon is the nominal value of the coin “100 ЛЕВА“ (BGN 100). In the circumference there is the wording “БЪЛГАРСКА НАРОДНА БАНКА” (BULGARIAN NATIONAL BANK), the year of issue ”2010”. The reverse of the coin features: a portrait of St. Naum after an icon, dating back to XIV-XV century, the church of the Monastery of St. Naum in Ochrid, where the relics of the saint are kept and an inscription “СВ. НАУМ” (St. Naum)
