Description of obverse and reverse
The obverse features a seal of the-then head of the State that are encircled with the inscriptions “LIETUVA” (Lithuania), the year of issue “2010”, the mark of the Lithuanian Mint and the inscription of the denomination, “500 LITŲ” (500 litas).
The reverse features scenes from the Battle of Grunwald that are revealed by details of horsemen and infantrymen clothing, armour and weapons typical of that time. The inscriptions “ŽALGIRIO MŪŠIS” (The Battle of Grunwald), “1410-2010” are arranged in a semicircle.

Lithuania defeated the forces of the Teutonic Order.
