Obverse - on the top there is a bold image of the coat of arms of the Republic of Belarus; in the centre a sign revealing the inner liason between a man and a nature: a stylized image of tree cut and the roots in the shape of people’s figurines enwrapping it, there are inscriptions on circumference: in the upper part - РЭСПУБЛІКА БЕЛАРУСЬ (Republic of Belarus), in the lower –20 РУБЛЁЎ (20 roubles) and the year of mintage. Reverse – in the centre there is a stylized image of trees with wreathy branches, in the centre there is an image of a bird, along the edge of the coin animals are depicted – a bison, an elk, boar and a deer, on the circumference there is an inscription: БЕЛАВЕЖСКАЯ ПУШЧА * 600 ГОД ЗАПАВЕДНАМУ РЭЖЫМУ (Bialowieza forest. 600 anniverssary of the preserved regime).
