Obverse – in the centre there is an image of the sun and the moon framed with a circle consisting of 12 symbols of the signs of Zodiac, below them is the astrological sign of Sagittarius and the inscriptions: in Latin – "SAGITTARIUS", in Belorussian– "СТРАЛЕЦ"; in the upper part there is a bold image of the coat of arms of the Republic of Belarus; in the lower part on the left the mintage year is indicated, on the right there is a metal alloy and the mintmark of the Mint of Poland, there are inscriptions on circumference – on the top - РЭСПУБЛІКА БЕЛАРУСЬ (Republic of Belarus), at the bottom –20 РУБЛЁЎ (20 roubles). Reverse – in the centre there is a stylized image of a sagittarius framed by the geometric ornament, in the sagittarius’ eyes there are insets of artificial chrystal.
