On the obverse there is a scene from the story "White ship" by Soviet, Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov. This story is about a boy that hides from injustice of the real world in the world of fairy-tails. In this world a schoolbag and field-glasses are the best friends of a boy, every stone nearby have its name. Mother-deer which rescued human children once and thus saved Kyrgyz nation from extinction also appears to the boy and helps him. Every evening the boy sits on the hilltop and looks for the white ship on the glassy surface of the lake. He believes that his father who he has never seen is a sailor on this ship. On the reverse there is the facsimile of Chingiz Aitmatov in the center and the emblem of the Kyrgyz Republic above it. There is also circular inscription "Work by Chingiz Aitmatov" in Kyrgyz and Russian on the top and year of issue, 2009, at the bottom.
