Mintage
Obverse: in the centre there is the emblem of the Bank of Russia, framed with a circle of small dots and inscriptions along the rim: on the top it reads: “СТО РУБЛЕЙ” (One hundred roubles), at the bottom - “2008”, on the left: the metal’s designation and its alloy on the right: the chemically pure metal content and the trade mark of the mint.
Reverse: on the water surface background there is a beaver’s family: two adult species and a baby, on the second plan there is a swimming beaver, behind it near the bank there is a house made by the beavers of the branches, along the rim there are inscriptions, on the top: “СОХРАНИМ” (Preserve), at the bottom: “НАШ МИР” (Our world).
