Description of obverse and reverse Obverse: At the top a map of Europe with dots representing the cities in different countries which will have a coin issued in the series. A Hansa ship in the Nord sea and series writing above HANSEATIC LEAGUE. At the lower part the regular Cook Islands obverse is depicted: Effigy of Queen Elizabeth II with above country of issue written Cook Islands, face value 5 Dollars and below written the name Elizabeth II. Reverse: Lubeck was the founding city of the Hanseatic League called Queen of the Hansa which is written at the top. The city name and city coat of arms is presented on the coin. A city view images is depicted with the Holstentor. In the front a bronze plated statue.
